Finally a X-crossover for 2 channel Audio "AND" HT

I have been consulting with Phil Marchand of Marchand Electronics, recently about a problem I have with X-overs and "dual systems" (that is 2 channel audio and HT systems in one system)

Marchand is well known for their excellent x-overs.

If you have passive Subs (I have VMPS) and a 2 channel system then you probably have a x-over if you want good blending and integration of the subs to the mains.

Now if you also have a HT set up, then you have a fully independant LFE (low frequency effects) channel that also needs a route to the bass amp.

This requires that you plug and unplug the bass leads to the amp as well as turning the amp off and on. (and if you forget and un-plug and plug you get some very nasty effects)

Phil has allowed me to offer a "SUMMIT HT by-pass" option to most of his x-overs which allows you to plug in the LFE output directly into the X-over and both it and the L&R mains are "by passed" so that a simple switch allows you to have the X-over in place for two channel music, and it can be "by passed" for HT.

So if you are interested in this feature let me know.

And as always, "courtesy pricing" is available to AudioCircle members.
