In MAC I implemented a virtual HD in RAM and copied iTunes into it. I compared iTunes running from actual HD vs one from the RAM HD, I think I feel a lot of difference or am I imagining it? I feel the itunes running from RAM HD is more musical. Right now I am doing the evaluation on headphones using a USB headphone dac-amp.

I will try copying the song being played also to be copied in the RAM-HD

The link for the program to create RAM HD as below.

Now that I have a Mac Mini, I believe there is a lot more jitter from this than a typical PC.  I will be installing a SS disk soon, so we'll see what difference this makes. If you are using one of my USB interfaces, the incoming jitter does matter, so the software can affect this.

The Pace-Car on the other hand will not be affected by the computer clock jitter.
