My annual shameless plug...!  A film I worked on, SANTA MESA, is now available on DVD from Amazon.com.

The film is a coming-of-age story about Hector, a 13-year old Filipino-American boy who, after being orphaned in an auto accident, is sent to live with his grandmother in a poor section of Manila (Philippines) called Santa Mesa.  SANTA MESA is a warm tale about family values, love and friendship. It tackles life's biggest challenge - growing up.

SANTA MESA is the directorial debut of Ron Morales.  It introduces Jacob Shalov as Hector, and co-stars Melissa Leo.

SANTA MESA won the Special Jury Prize for Narrative Feature at the 2008 San Francisco International Asian-American Film Festval, Best Dramatic Narrative Feature at the 2008 Philadelphia Asian-American Film Festival, and Best Feature at the 2008 San Diego Asian-American Film Festival.

Hope you'll check it out!

Looks like we're having a little technical problem with Amazon, so the DVD is not available at the moment.  Stay tuned...should be up again shortly...
