What is your favorite single-ended line level cable?
Qualifications from high to low:
Sound quality
Flexibility
Shielding
Diameter under 1/4". My general favorite is Stan Warren's twisted pair AWG12 THHN, obviously too stiff & bulky for the intended small light hard-wired switchbox. My friend likes the opposite extreme (AWG30) but no known method to achieve enough mechanical strength. Will adding a woven plastic or fiberglass jacket & securing the jacket at the plug & switchbox work?
What's up w/ "Anti-cable" (IIRC)?
Thanks!
