200/350WRMS 8/4-Ohms; two pair MOSFET output devices (especially well suited to electrostats/ribbons) per channel; rich detailed upper mid-treble & great stage/image performance. Stone cold blew away a fully warmed/burned-in $2800 Italian Pathos Acoustics Classic One hybrid/MOSFET (then a Stereophile Magazine Class-A Recommended Component); also soundly trounced (as expected) a $1000 US-built ATI #1802 200W bipolar amp. The MF200 has excellent power, staging, imaging, refinement, resolution & transparency; the better qualities of tubes w/ none of the cost, heat & service hassles. No listening fatigue regardless of duration; very musical.
Rock solid reliability; never hiccupped or made inappropriate noise or vibration of any kind, mechanical or through the speakers; never blew a fuse, no service required, top never removed except for photos. Dead silent power up/down. Heat-sinks barely warm at any playback level; amp is a gem at a great price.
Includes OEM Owner Manual; brand new unused OEM shipping carton from CJ; inputs/outputs/fuses/fuse sockets/AC plug all treated w/ Caig Pro Gold; all fuses to OEM spec.
