Mmmm tasty, might have to trade up my k20d which I have grown to really love.

Looks like a good camera, would you use the movie function on it?

I don't know if I would 'really' use it to be honest.

I'm sure id play with it a little but but if I find it truly useful or not is a different story.

I'm more interested in its size - its significantly smaller than my k20d.  A feature I do love about the k7, But I'm not sure if its really worth the upgrade for me.

Having said that its only $1200 usd and I could probably get $600 for the k20d so almost an impulse buy.  I guess it will depend how much of an improvement there is with other areas like high iso and af performance where the k20d is perhaps weakest.

This is a seriously tempting camera.
The What Digital Camera video presentation you linked to makes no mention of a few significant features and design advantages, a couple of which are:
1] stereo audio capability on the external mic input and
2] floating sensor for shake reduction at the sensor instead of the lens. This keeps the lens lighter and permits something I had not heard of (which may not be saying much) in any other camera: compensation not only for horizontal and vertical, but also rotational shake motion. I don't think this would be possible in a lens based SR system.
