I don't know anything about the drivers, but those cabinets are beautiful! Did you make them yourself?

TB has been known to make some really good drivers for the money. They have also built not so good ones. One thing that seems to hold is that they are always changing their lineup so they are a moving target, which means that they a harder to nail down and there are fewer well proven boxes designed for them.

At the moment i have a set of fully EnABLed W3-871 in my office and somewhere i have an absolutely gorgeous set of 1-off 3" neps.

Well, thanks, yes I did :) They are about 3 1/2" wide and 15" tall. The baffle is something called redgum, not the redgum that falls on my house now but a North American softwood.

I've got some Tang Band 3's with aluminum phase plugs, pulled them out of a pair of Logitech "computer" speakers. Have some plans for ML-TL cabs for them, maybe someday I'll get around to building a set...they seem like pretty decently constructed speakers for the price.

I noticed that. Parts express was selling a driver I wanted, and now it's not available any more?

For awhile they made some bamboo drivers that looked interesting, but those seem to be out of the lineup now too.

I take that back...it looks like Parts Express is offering some TB bamboo cone drivers again.

In Germany there is a lot going on with Tangband drivers.

Some examples are shown here:
www.oaudio.de click on "Lautsprecher Bausätze"
Also very common are "Cyburgs Needle", "Cyburgs Stick" in www.hifi-forum.de

I built these a bit ago for S&Gs.  Not exactly hifi but I wanted to build some mini 1/4 wave transmission lines.  I
use them for my diy electronics test rig.  They are 2" widebanders
