Heck yes, just buy a new one  :)

Seriously, usually I just give it a quick dusting with feather mop or clean cloth.

Thanks for responding Mike. I should have been more clear. The top has smudges all over it. I tried a lightly damp cloth but not strong enough. I suspect the smearing is fingerprints and whatever else my little nephew was eating at the time. My wife suggested Murphy's Oil Soap but I wanted to check with the experts first.

Anyone?

The Murphy's . .  . might work, but might leave a residue. I have a note at home with something that should work well. I'll check tonight when I get home and post.

A good mixture is Ivory soap in water. You need VERY little soap, just enough to get some suds in warm water. A drop or two of soap in a glass of water for instance. Dampen and use a micro fiber cloth or other very clean cloth. Wipe it off, then wipe with a cloth dampened in just water. Finish with a dry cloth . . . will look good as new :)

Actually, I need to thank my wife, she worked this out a couple of years ago by trial and error  :D
