On my time off I have decided to make a couple of the CATs. I've changed the design (only in appearance) but it now features a lamination. If you know your arms specifications: Effective lenght (from stylus to tonearm pivot center), Overhang (from stylus to platter spindle), and Offset angle, you can align your cartridge damn near perfect with this jig. I also suggest to users to download the Excel program from www.enjoythemusic.com to determine the null points.

The jig comes partially unassembled, but I have put double sided tape on the pointer piece, and you will have to take the paper off of the tape and carefully and accurately stick the base and the pointer together.



I will also include a 2 page instruction sheet.

I have to have about $25 for this, cause they are lots of work. I will ship it for free in the US.

I have enough supplies to make 3 more for the time being. These are very nice, especially since I've started laminating them. This is a precesion instrument. The care and time you take using this tool to align your cartridge will be returned in musical rewards later on.

Hi there, wanted to give Wayner a couple of thumbs up for his work...

I bought this from him, quick shipment and it was easy to assemble, only hard thing was to line up the water marks, but with patience, it can be done.

Checked it out and it's quite accurate, same alignment as my JMW jig!
