These are exceptionally good. These big speakers image like a mini-monitor. Off axis responses in the vertical and horizontal vary little from flat in any direction. They are just incredibly smooth from anywhere I could put the microphone.

And yes, each speaker has four 10" woofers.

You can hear them very soon at AK Fest if you go.

I'm sure they sound just great in spite of the vintage Von Schweikert esthetic...

The tweeter face plate is actually Copper coated. If you don't like the Copper then you can get them in Black.

The feedback that I got was that there were a few issues with them at the show.

I knew that they'd be a freshly assembled pair with little play time on them when they arrived and that would have held them back a little.

From what I have heard from a discerning listener was that putting a speaker that large (with a total of eight 10" woofers) into a small untreated room caused some issues. The bass loaded the room a bit much and there may have been some room related peaks elsewhere in the response.

However, the same guy told me that a lot of people were really digging it.

They sure do look awesome! It would be cool to see the off axis curves here as long as it is okay with Tyler Acoustics...

Scroll down to nearly the end of this page. Looks like Greg Weaver really digged it.

Nice job once again Danny.
