Looking for info on Caddock resistors
« on: 25 Apr 2009, 01:26 am »

I want to rewire the xovers in my Meadowlark Kestrels and replace one of the resistors with Caddock MP930s. I found them on the Partsconnexion web site but not sure of the values in the chart. I need 6 ohm resistor and the list has this
CADDOCK-     51137     6R0     MP-930     $6.95     $6.75
CADDOCK-    65201    6R2    MP-930    $6.95    $6.75
CADDOCK-    65202    6R8    MP-930    $6.95    $6.75
CADDOCK-    51138    6R9    MP-816    $6.95    $6.75

I'm sure the 6R means resistance but no idea what the number after the R means. I checked the Caddock web site but could not find anything. If no one here knows I'm hoping a call to Partconnexion will do it. Here's a link to the web page.

Thanks all.

Hey!

    If you need 6 ohm than that would be the 6R0. :D

   Not sure what R stand for myself but....

    6R0 = 6.0Ω, 6R2 = 6.2Ω and so on.

   Make sure to get the right wattage for you app. :D

   BTW... I  like Caddock resistor. I use mostly the MK132 in my pre and amps. :D

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

Thanks for the info.
Meadowlark used the Caddock resistors on the later versions of Kestrels. The resistor in the xover says MP930 6ohm 1%. I'm ordering Monday. :D
