Danny,

I am not sure I heard it right you will be getting a new Neo 3 with an open back so that it can be used in an OPen baffle speakers? If so when will it become available and an estimated price?

Cheers.

I had a few made (custom version) with all five rows of magnets (like the standard version) and the felt (like the pdr version) on the front side only. It brought the sensitivity up over the standard version and worked out really well in the open baffle.

The only hitch was that the back side of the mounting hole had to be shaped a certain way to make the rear output smooth like the front.

Oh yeah, one other hitch is that I have to order a bunch of them to get them made.

Thanks for the info.

Once they are ready for release and priced within reach I am interested in taking a few units(2-4) from you.

Seems like an OB Array using those would use a bunch up quick.   aa  I can see Danny planning something completely evil like this to build the ultimate speaker.

Planed quite some time ago. The real trick is getting someone to build the cabinets, and it does require CNC work.

I actually commissioned him to build a set for me last August, and I am still waiting for them.

Danny, is there a possibility of getting an advance pair to try? I will pay for them. I like to try them in OB configuration.  I like to cross them between 2-2.5Khz.

Thanks.
