r / l on C2

Hello gents,

I am using non-stock RCAs. Which is left and right on the inputs and outputs on the C2 board?
My orientation is having the board with the mono switch at my chest looking down the board with the J201 output on left and J200 inputs on the right.

there are three holes in the board for each jack, I see the one for ground but which is left ch and which is right ch?

Connecting Chassis RCA’s

The 2 big holes are for mounting tabs, ignore.

The small center hole in the middle is ground.

Looking at the board so the lettering is right-side-up, with the mounting holes at the top, or away from you, the right hole, which is on a line is right, the left one, left.

Got it, Geary.

And I agree that Jim is a big help. He cut my chassis for me, put the IC and switch in place as well as grommets and did a nice job.

I am on the verge of finishing this job. One thing I say right now is that short hookup wires are a hell of lot harder to work with than long ones. Just finished wiring most of the IEC and RCAs at board. Next top panel goes on, RCAs meet their hookup, IEC final hookup, screw-down ... and 120volt straight to the aorta. Wish me luck.

Done. With a ton of help from Jim Howard "Tubesforever". Big thanks, amigo. A true fellow traveler.

Two mishaps. I put the mono switch in upside down and can't get the front plate on. I will have to order another switch because it looks like I will have to cut that one on their now off. Not a biggie.

BUT I put a .1amp fuse which burned out on fire up. How depressing to flip the thing on and get nothing. I was commiserating with Jim and he says, "what fuse you have in there?" I found a 1amp and got the red light [thanks Geary] then green and the damn thing is imperial. I am coming from a modded Cambridge 640p, and even though that 640p holds up well in comparison, this C2 is immense. More powerful and more delicate. fading transients linger. More emotional draw in.

Damn. I DID IT?!?!?!?!?!?! Wahooooooooooooooooooo!!

And thanks to Jim Hagerman for "Putting fun back in audio".
