I'll be hosting a get together in the near future, maybe this evening if time allows. Guest will be Werd who I found out also lives in Saskatoon. There are a few more audiophiles in the city whom I lost contact with. Perhaps some how we can establish a club.

The agenda I have planned:
-Multi-channel sacd demonstration featuring Allman Bros., Fillmore East, 3 tracks, and Shania Twain Up album, 4 tracks, which is one of the best sacd recordings I've come across.
- Multi-channel DSP stereo, camparing the BCD-1 with Yamaha Enhancer to the above mentioned sacd tracks.
- Then a demonstration that my system can play all genre's equally well.
- Then a multi-channel DTS recording, featuring Porcupine Tree, Arriving Somewhere, but Not Here and time permitting a few tracks from Peter Gabriel, Growing Up

All this of course powered with Bryston amps.

Sometime later, time permitting, hopefully I'll have a chance to hear Werd's system. Who has even better equipment. Should be fun.

Your more than welcome, I'm not sure if it's a go with Werd. I don't have a lot of room, but I think I can make room for one more chair.

7bsst2 sounds great, with my mess of wires may not be a good idea.

Let me know thanks.

It ain't happening, WF I guess. I've had an easier time organizing a hockey team. Hockey players know the game comes first, then family.

The Saskatoon Rave has come and gone as Werd and I were able to arrange a listening session on Sunday afternoon.

There was nothing in the way of food except for S'toon's Gold medal award tasting beer, Great Western premium. Sorry, no photos.

After the multi-channel demonstration of stereo, sacd and dts. I don't know if I convinced Werd to take up the MC crusade. One thing is for sure he found out how Bryston amps perform at concert levels of 95 to 100 db. :guitar: :drums: :guitar:

Werd definitely is an audiophile. He can tell if speakers are out of phase or thermal compression. Things like that that I wouldn't know if I was hearing it or not, as long as it sounds good.

Hopefully I'll get a to hear Werd's 4b sst/2 in the near future. I'm also curious to hear the difference that a good pre-amp makes to the sound.

Yes it was a very enjoyable time. It is amazing how Mag has orchestrated 10 speakers in that room. I really like the paradigm 100, very nice straight forward speaker.  Love the porcupine Tree, sounded great!!!
