RECORD STORE DAY AT VINTAGE VINYL: MUSIC, AMAZEMENT, EXCLUSIVE VINYL OFFERINGS IN A TAX-FREE ZONE!!
We've got a pretty impressive line-up of events and musical personalities for the 2nd Annual Record Store Day celebration: everything from guest celebrity DJs in our store to live music on Delmar, limited edition vinyl exclusives by national and international artists.but wait, there's more! (we've always wanted to say that, and never before has there been such justification for doing so.).
The line-up of guest DJs range from radio icons such as Radio Rich Dalton, Gentleman Jim Gates, SMASH, and Donnie Fandango to the band members of the renowned Story Of The Year and So Many Dynamos, cool club/KDHX DJ Doug Morgan, music editors Kevin Johnson of The Post Dispatch and Annie Zaleski for the Riverfront Times, while outdoors on Delmar The Beat Street hip-hop collaborative (DJ Needles, producer/DJ B-Money [JayZ, 50 Cent], Original hip hop DJ and documentary film producer G-Wiz, plus guests), the May Day Orchestra & Robert Sarazin Blake, Zimbabwe Nkenya as well as Alley Ghost will provide live performances.
Refreshments shall be provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon (yes, free beer!!) and energy drinks courtesy of Monster. There's going to be a ton of free giveaways, and as our own Economic Stimulus Package, Vintage Vinyl will be a TAX FREE ZONE for the entire day.
Music is the magic for all of us here at Vintage Vinyl, and Record Store Day is our yearly declaration and celebration of the truth found in the healing feeling that music provides; all over the nation, independent record stores shall be celebrating in their communities, helping to make the world SAFE in the unity of our shared experience as listeners and players.
