I have it from a reliable source that we are going to get Golden Ear Awards from Absolute Sound Magazine in the 2009 June/July issue for both the 28B SST amplifier and the BDA-1 External DAC.

My source tells me he believes this is the first time one manufacturer has gotten two Golden Ear Awards in the same issue?

So folk's that makes 3-Golden Ear Awards for Bryston in the last year if you include the Bryston BCD-1 CD Player.

The word "best" get used often and people are usually a way offside when they use the word. Add the Torus power supply/ conditioner to the  Best List available from Bryston.

Having owned a BDA-1 for half a year now, it is no surprise to me at all that it has received this award.
