Anybody try the foobar kernel streaming plug-in?
« on: 7 Apr 2009, 02:42 pm »
I was just wondering if anybody here has any experience with the foobar native direct kernel streaming plug-in -- both how it sounds and how stable is it?

The description on the foobar pages says that this may become unstable with some system configurations.  Are these known quantities or is this just a catch-all disclaimer?

Bottom line, is it an improvement over asio4all?

Thanks,

Jim

This won't be much help but think of it as a thread bump.

I've tried the WASAPI plug in, which only worked for a short time before it just stopped working.
I wouldn't read much into that, there's not much in Vista that stays up and running.
