I did not find this question addressed in any of the prior 28B SST threads.

What are the differences, if any, between the original 28B SST and the 28B SST(Squared)?

My understanding is that the SST(Squared) amps introduced to market in January 2009 incorporate technology first introduced in the 28B SST. Therefore, is there really any difference between an SST and SST(Squared) 28B?

If there are internal changes corresponding to specific serial numbers, this information would be helpful to know. 28B's are beginning to show up on the used market and, if there are differences between serial number runs, it would be nice to be able to discern which version is being offered for sale.
