SOLD

This is a Shengya A10-CS hybrid integrated amplifier.  I bought this just a couple months ago but my wife gave the go ahead for me to have a projector in my listening area, so instead of trying to integrate this with a home theater setup I am looking to go to a decent quality multi channel amp and processor that will suit me for 2 channel and HT.  I would keep it if I had room for a second system.  I have to let this amplifier go.  I bought this from Pacific Valve as a lightly used demo.  I doubt they had many hours on it and I have put less than 50 on it.  It is in excellent condition.  The only mark on it is a slight ring on the volume knob, near the faceplate.  This travels probably 60 degrees on the knob, but it is not noticeable at all unless you are looking from above the amp.  I will rate it at 7 out of 10 for this, to be conservative.  This is the only mark on the amplifier that I can see.

You can see information given by Pacific Valve here:

http://www.pacificvalve.us/ShengYaA10CS.html

It is sold out from them, at $899 plus $80 or so for shipping.

This is basically the identical amp as the Vincent, offered for example, by Audio Advisor:  http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=VISV236MK%20BLK

Please read all about it at these two sites.

Now, you can research online and find a mention by the manufacturer that claims “some” parts in the Vincent are of better quality than in the Shengya, but I know of no one who has dissected them to find out.  My guess is that they are nearly identical.

This amplifier has a smooth tube sound, but significant slam.  It provided great soundstage, depth, and detail in my system. I was powering Onix Rocket 850 Signatures with it and would not get the volume knob past 9:30.  It had great control over the woofers in the speakers – plenty fast.  You will not be disappointed with this unit.  Included is the quality remote and power cord.  I will double box and insure it properly.  The package will be approximately 53 lbs.

I have put up pics in my gallery:
