SOLD: Tim Rawson F5 Clone

For Sale:
Tim Rawson F5 clone. I recieved it just before Christmas. Sounds and looks great. This one has what Tim calls his "nicer chasis" and built with "better parts", Tim's words. I know it has the Plitron transformer, also has blue power LED. It looks similar to most of Tim's amps, has the 4.5" heat sinks. No camera at the moment, I will try to get some pics up in the next couple of days. It is in excellent condition, the same as it was recieved. PC not included. Asking $485. plus shipping from 47136 and 3% Paypal fees. Checking the box Tim shipped it in the shipping weight is 26 lbs..

Only selling to fund yet another speaker project.

Looks like my other two Rawson amps.

If I didn't already have an XA-J and Aleph J, I would be all over this.

As long as the amount of watts is enough, this is a killer deal.

The MTM section of my OBs (shown in my icon). They are the top half of the GR Audio OB5/7 and are rated at 91dB. I don't use a preamp, the amp is directly connected to my MHDT Havana DACT which is reported to have a 2.6 V output.

The F5 is a 25 WPC stereo class A amp with no caps in the signal path.

yeah 28ish watts class A but one transister will shut off and it will go to 50ish AB if I remember correctly

Read the 6Moons review - This amp beats the sets, and might be the best amp ever made. So, if you have an efficient system this could be the real-deal. Both the noise floor and the distortion level are the lowest ever measured. This appears to be a major amp design break through.

It might even convert the bottleheads.
