First post, lurking for some time. I have just purchased a used MK2 with KAB tonearm rewire and damper on the way. After reading the many many threads on improving the MK2 and lots of talk TheChairGuy about plasticlay damping, I did see any mention of whether the 1200 would benefit from addig plasticlay or similar to the base and insides. I think I read that it did not do much for the platter.
Is damping the base/inside of the 1200 worth it?
