Hi,

That is a really good price your selling that amplifier.  I'm sure they were $3kUS + when sold new.  A great sounding amplifier.

Its a pity I live in Australia and our voltage is 240v.

Best of luck.

Thanks. The retail price was $3.3k US. I thought the asking price would sell this amp.

Hi,

A lot of people are cautios with their money at the moment.  Lots of people are losing their jobs in Australia.  I have 3 amps at home and I can't justify another.

I hope you sell this one though.  If not its always great to have a spare amplifier.

Regards

Rod

All very true and a little disheartening. Thanks for the kind thoughts.

Hi,

These amplifiers use the tripath module as opposed to the ice one that is used in the current amplifiers.  The tripath module makes this sound quite tubey but with all the benefits on ss.

I heard the latest bel canto amplifiers and preferred this model much better.

Good luck with the sale.

I briefly owned the Bel Canto S-300 amp. I used the pre out from the eVo2i to drive it for comparison. I much preferred the sound of the tripath to the Ice.

Still for sale.

Hi,

I borrowed a bel canto integrated with ice power (one with the smaller chassis) and I agree the tripath sounded a level better.  I don't understand why they went with ice power.
