Wow, these don't come up for sale very often and I'm sure I'm gong to kick myself down the road, but I must sell my DCX-2496.  It is fully modded as described here:

I'm looking to get $1,500 + shipping + 3% for PayPal obo.  I'll throw in two pairs of xlr->rca cables (wire by Stan Warren; I added the xlrs to one end) and a rca->bnc adapter if my asking price is met.  Mike was modding these for $1,550-$1,600 without the maple end plates that are included with this one.  Plus this one has the impossible-to-get AKM4396 DACs installed.

Guys, this is an awesome all-in-one package.  I was using it as a DAC / Preamp / digital crossover with remote volume control.  I went from my transport into this and then on to my amps followed by my speakers.

A huge upgrade for you VMPS, Emerald Physics, and really any other speaker owner!

You can't get this much in a package like this for anywhere close to this price.
