I went shopping last weekend and stopped by Tim's place to listen to the B&W's. But after to listening to SEVERAL other speakers, I simply fell in love with the Focal's. I ordered the Chorus 836 V. Should be here either this Fri or the following Mon. This sucks, it's going to be like christmas eve for a week straight.
They are most awesome I plan to try and write a review after I have had them for a bit.
By the way any of you GAS guy's interested in giving them a listen hit me up. I don't have a rack full of monster tube amps, just my Denon reciver. That will have to do for now until.....................!
p.s. electricbear (Tim) It was great meeting you I would have loved to stay and bullshti but I had a full day (just under 8 hours). I hope to meet you again I think we have a lot in common I can feel the force is strong with you. (Don't sue me Star Wars) No offense to you of course but that is a bad room to audition in with the glass wall behind it. I may have liked the B&W's better in a more acoustically sound room.
