AudioCircle Donation Drive is on!

Hi folks, on the eve of our first birthday, the time has come to help pay for the server charges for this site. We figure that as long as the folks on this site are willing to pay a few bucks to keep it running, it will keep running and remain a cool (and banner-free!) place for everyone to hang out.

So, without further ado... announcing the audiocircle donation drive! We want to raise US$2000, which will pay for the first year of operation and most of the second. Please log in first and then visit the following link to make a donation:

I assume AudioCircle is a 501c3 (sic) corp. and this a tax deductible contribution.  8)

No, but we are listed by the Intergalactic Council for the Listing of All Things in category TGQO%36^N*, Assemblage of Primitive Technologies for the Purpose of Maintaining a Distributed Community of Curious but Mostly Harmless Nature, subcategory A49X, Excitation of Sensual Organs by Auditory Vibration.

;-)

Thanks for the donation! :thumb:

If you are unable to use Paypal, you can send an alternative form of payment (for example, a money order or check) to one of the following members. Click on the link to send a private message to obtain further details:

United States -- MaxCast
Europe -- Ferdi
Australia -- JohnR

Looks like I'll have to devise some way of sending my $50 to Ferdi. I don't have Paypal, for reasons unknown the local post office has suspended Eurocheques (money orders), I can't use my credit card, so the only option I have that I know of is to use Western Union.

Ferdi told me to wait so he can see if anything better comes along, but if not, that's the only option I have, short of putting bills in an envelope.

I was foolhardy enough to ask about transfer charges in local banks - that $50 would cost another $36 to be transferred! Man, those banks really are made of marble! I should have been a banker.

Cheers,
DVV

Dejan, you can use a CC through Paypal.

It's free to set up an account.

Why don't you ask for product donations to sell or auction?  This is easier for manufacturers than cash.

Errr...

You see the problem, John? I've banging my head against the wall with it since 1990, when the original CC were recalled when the old Yugoslavia started to break up.

Cheers,
