I thought a restaurant review and recommendation thread could be fun.  A place where you can ask about cities you are planning on visiting and tell about places you have been. 

I will start with two Boston area recommendations(although I have many) that I have been to in the last two weeks.
The first is right down the street for me in West Newton.  Its called Lumiere and it is a great French place.  I went there last Tuesday and they had this fantastic mushroom with brown butter soup starter.  Also as a "stimulus package" they are doing restaurant week pricing ($33.33 for 3 course+$15 for wine pairing) through the end of the year mid week.

The next I went to last night and it was friggin great.  Its called B&G Oyster and it is in the South End.  Can't say enough good about this place.  Just go.

Now for a recommendation request.  I go to Indiana quite a bit and I have never had a good meal that was not fried.  I go near Fort Wayne.  Can someone recommend a fine dining place near there.  Thanks

Hmm, I can't make recommendations for Fort Wayne, but I used to live in Indiana. So, I can make recommendations for a few cities:

Indianapolis - Bazbeaux Pizza
Bloomington - Snow Lion (Tibetan), Shanti (Indian), Little Zagreb (steak), Mother Bear's (pizza)
Evansville - Jimmy Jeng's (Szechuan --the best szechuan I've ever eaten), Turoni's (pizza)
