Installed one of these at the suggestion of another member here and I'm very pleased at the appreciable difference it made!  Not sure how much of this is attributed to the receptacle, or the fact that I cleaned and applied progold to the contacts of the in-wall wiring, but a marked improvement nonetheless; which is great because I really was expecting none at all

Note:I live in an apartment complex with really crappy wiring/electrical so this tweek probably wouldn't work as well in a house with dedicated audio circuits etc...
