This might be the wrong forum for this question but;  A dealer is offering $850.00 (US) for my 10 yr. old, near mint 4B ST in trade on an 4B SST2.  Don't really know what the going price is for a 4B ST but $850.00 sounds a little low.  Anybody know what the going price might be?

It all depends on what he's asking for the 4Bsq for. If its a decent price on the 4bsq. it might be good deal. But if he is asking retail on the new 4B it might be a bit low. U have to expect a low ball from a retailer though.

Ya, that's true.  He's knocking $125.00 off the SST2 and there is no sales tax so maybe it is not that bad a deal.

Right now I am trying to sell mine which is also in pristine condition and can say that by itself the price would be roughly 300-400$ short but if he is taking off 125$ and taxes then you are getting about what I am asking. I don't know if you live in Canada or the U.S. but I am in Canada and we are at 80 cents to your dollar. I am asking 1400$ Can. which is about 1100$ U.S. Many lowballers but nothing yet after 5 days. I am however negotiable.

I am also getting the new SST/2.
