The Trends 10.1 is a great sounding USB for the money and a great way to start out in computer audio. I just barely sold mine for a $1000 replacement upgrade. I would highly recommend either getting the $26 Trends rechargable battery pak, an aftermarket power supply like the Channel Island VDC-SB, one of Bolder Cable's power supplies, or a Paul Hynes power supply to really make this baby sing. Otherwise it's drawing it's power from the computer via the USB cable itself which will degrade the sound somewhat. Regardless you can't go wrong with the Trends 10.1 IMHO.
