Hi All,

You may not remember, but a couple of months ago I posted a few questions here on Frank's amps (http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=64093.0).  Well, last Monday my Insight SL PreAmp and Insight 240 PowerAmp.  As it turns out, I was out of town on travel and wasn't able to get the amps up and running until this morning.

Well I must say, they are fantastic!!!  It's as if I was previously listening to music through a "cloth."  There was nothing wrong, but now the music much more clear, and the music just sings!!! 

All I can say is: Thank You Frank!  Thank You!!!

Goody! Welcome to the "club"! Of course you have received the Insight+ SL with the new op-amp chip. It sure sounds swell. You may find that you hear things like you never heard before when you start going thru your music collection.

The first thing I noticed with the new gear is the clarity in the presentation of the music – almost startling compared to what I was used to hearing.  All of those who mentioned that “you will rediscover” your CD collection were not just tossing out a line!  CD’s that I’ve listened to for years sound different, really different.  There is more music, instruments and life on those silver disks that has been masked by seemingly fine equipment that has now been exposed as part of the problem.  The improvements extended to all sources – albums, SACDs, Concert DVDs and movie dialog.  Frank indicated I’d probably be amazed by what my speakers could actually do.  That was an accurate call – once again!

And now for the GOOD NEWS!!!

I've been listening to older AVA equipment for years - and year after year I become more impressed with the sound.    Maybe it's an "illusion" but it just seems to sound better and better.
