FS: tube lots

I'm selling a bunch of stuff, mostly DIY parts. I'll post items here that I think might be of interest to AC members, prior to posting on EBay AU. Will sell to established AC members only.

This listing is for various sets of tubes. I will be adding to this list over the next couple of days. I am interested only in selling multiple lots - think USD200 minimum. Will mostly suit amp builder and experimenter.

1. Tung-sol 6550, used, qty 3 marked "100%" on the box, with my handwriting also saying TV-7 tested at 60/44, 56/44, and 60/44. Plus two extra tubes marked "70%" and "72%". USD75.

2. RCA 807, qty 6, look unused but only two in original box. Plus one Motorola, plus qty 4 of 5933 in unknown condition. USD40.

3. EI KT90, matched quad from Upscale Audio, lightly used. Unfortunately a ham-fisted housemate broke off one of the locator pins so you have to have confidence to insert the tube without it. Or you can try gluing it back on (it's still in the box). USD80.

4. 6B4G, qty 4, used but tested good a few years back. Bases seem a little loose, so a carefully placed drop of epoxy might be wise. USD50.

5. 6pi45c aka EL509, in matched quads and octets. I will have see what I have left, enquire if interested.

6. Misc rectifiers. Not sure why I have these since I don't use any. All are used unless indicated otherwise, and would test OK (otherwise I wouldn't have them). 5U4G, qty 3. Tungsol 5AS4A, NOS, qty 2. 5Y3, qty 3. Make an offer.

7. Siemens C3m, NOS, qty 4. Supposed to be a good driver tube for 300Bs. USD50.

8. 12SN7, NOS, quads, make offer.

9. 6CJ3 diode, NOS, lots of 5, make offer.

10. 6AX4 rectifier, looks like mix of NOS and used, qty 11.

11. 7193, NOS, quads.

12. 6c19pi, NOS, how many do you want?

13. EF86, 4 marked russian, 3 GE, 1 sylvania, one unknown. Make offer for all.

14. 6H3, qty 4.

15. 12AV7, qty 5.

16. 5963, NOS, lots of 5.

17. 6922, NOS, qty 4.

18. 5687, mixed, qty 5.

19. 6BM8, Svetlana qty 4, Amperex Bugle Boy qty 2.

20. 5965, qty 7.

Update: I'll keep listing more as I find them.

21. 5670, NOS, qty 5.

22. 6CA4 rectifier, equiv EZ81, RCA, NOS, qty 3.

23. 6H30pi, new unused, in box labeled "NavigatoR", qty 4.

24. 6S4A, NOS, qty 5.

25. 71A mix, lot of 5. Philco NOS qty 1; Tung-sol NOS qty 1, Silvertone (?) probably used but looks great qty 1, "Wizard" (?!) used, base loose, qty 1, National Union probably used but looks great qty 1.

26. 171A (bulb version of 71A), used, bases slightly loose, one RCA, one Silvertone.

27. 6N1P qty 10, new unused.

28. 56 triode, RCA, in (tattered) original boxes, can't tell if NOS or used as someone has written "700/450" on the sides. Qty 2.

29. 27 triode, Philco, qty 2.

30. 30 triode, Sylvania and RCA, NOS, qty 6.

31. 31 triode, funky "power" tube, 3 NOS plus 1 used.

32. 76 triode, Philco, 4 NOS + 1 used.

33. 37 triode, mix of NOS and used, I appear to have 8 of these.

34. Ceramic 4- and 5-pin sockets to suit above, not sure how many

35. 7189A, matched quad from Jim McShane, barely used, $50.

36. JJ ECC83/12AX7, quad, new unused

37. 6C4. This is a 7 pin triode that is like half of a 12AU7. It was used in some versions of the Eico HF-30 (mono) amplifier, together with a 6AV6 (below). Using the two separate tubes meant that a 12DW7 wasn't needed. Let me know how many you're interested in.

38. 6AV6. This is a 7-pin triode that is like half of a 12AX7 - see above.

OK, that's it for now...

Hi John,

What plates are the TS 6550's--black or gray, and if gray, smooth or 3 hole?

Thanks,

Randy

Um... honestly, I have no idea. But as indicated, I'm mostly interested in passing on unfinished projects and parts to other keen DIYers (hopefully with a little more time to put into it than me!)

Thanks!

Oh right... I did get my TV-7 up and running again, it was a piece of cake. The line voltage adjust seems to help out here. So I can provide test results on request, for about the next 23 hours. Thanks ;)
