Anyone try the Nuforce Icon amp with Omegas?  I have a pair of Super 3Rs that I currently use with a Sonic Impact Super-T.  I'm thinking about switching to the Nuforce, but folks with high efficiency speakers complain that the amp is too noisy. 

Anyone have any experience with this?

Good question and I can't help you with this combo. I haven't heard the amp. If it is noisy it won't be good.

Yeah, the Omega 3 are very revealing. I have the XRS 3 and I find myself hearing things I never heard before like the headphone play back while a singer sings accapello or magnetic print through on old analog tapes.

Hey Monster,

I've own Superhemps and the icon and can confirm that there is no weird buzzing etc.  The combination works just fine and sounds pretty nice.  The ICON is more amp/dac for the amount of money they charge.

EDIT:  PM me if you're interested in buying mine.  Its pretty much brand new and sits unused.  I'll cut you a deal on it which is crazy considering the already low asking price...

I remember another small amp that was cheap and sounding pretty good. Funny name though.It was called Big Joe. More like a gain card than class D.
