Up for grabs is a set of interconnects from KCI Audio called the FireFly SE. These premium cables boast of all silver and gold conductors along with the venerable silver Eichmann bullet plugs. In short, these cables have got it all: exceptional detail, soundstaging, dynamics, coherence, control, extension, - there is almost nothing they cannot do real well. The only reason I’m selling the Firefly SE is because I’m about to bend over and buy my ‘dream’ cables from Acoustic Systems which, surprise, surprise, cost a whole lot more. Those of you already familiar with KCI products will find that the Firefly SE's sound rests comfortably between the Silkworm and the Firefly, which in my opinion, is darn near the best of both worlds.
