Help! I Need Speaker Rebuilder Advise
« on: 10 Mar 2009, 07:22 pm »
Hello All,

I have a friend who need the drivers rebuilt in his Nestorovic speakers. No markings on the drivers whatsoever.

The surrounds rotted and the voice coils have suffered rubbing, badly.

I am looking for recommendations of professional driver rebuilders that have the ability to repair these. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did do a search and came up empty but may have used the wrong search criteria.

TIA,
Jake

Steve Deckert of Decware is the only driver repair fella I know of.

You might want to contact Bud Purvine at O'netics -- he served his "apprenticeship" with Nestirovic.

Hi Bob & Dave,

Thanks very much. I'll try Bud Purvine first as he may know the OEM that provided drivers for Nestorovic. If no luck on to Mr. Deckert.

Again I thank you. The owner of the speakers will be tickled if I make this happen for him.  :thumb:

Cheers,
Jake

Dave,

I hadn't been to the site in several months, but I just experienced the same issue.  I tried this side door link and it seemed to work fine.  http://www.millersound.net/about.htm.

Here is a story about Bill http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/roadtour13/roadtour13.html
