Anyone know why my VRS/1 subwoofer is sending a loud, intermittent buzz about every 10 seconds?  I unhooked the connections to relocate the sub.  After reconnecting, it seems to be searcing for a signal but preamp indicates sub signal is active.  Thanks.

Could it be something as simple as a ground loop problem? if so just add a two-prong adapter to plug and plug into wall. Sounds like it might be something different but worth a shot. Worked for me on other subs. Good luck

In my HT I get that buzzing whenever I power off my preamp before powering off my subwoofer but it's constant.  You might try a different cable between your preamp and sub.  Good luck and try to not let it drive you nuts.
