firefox supports icc profiles now as well... so if your monitor is calibrated, and you run icc profile you will see the image exactly how i intended :P

Interesting tip. The spyder test page looks perfect with icc enabled.
Your colour tweak looks exactly the same (great) on my monitor. Years ago I bought one of the last Cornerstone p1750 21" CRT monitors made, it will be a sad day when I have to move to a LCD panel.

i use adobe rgb for everything, because my camera and printer supports it (and monitor also) and it kicks the crap out of SRGB.

Dont be too worried about going to LCD WGH, i did it last year with dell's 30incher and i've not regretted it.  I came from a LaCie 22inch pro monitor.
