AMP Stands

I just very recently picked these up:

They are from Sanus and certainly not the best one could do, but I think they are pretty darn nice.  Their finish is outstanding.  I bought them separately as two bases and two shelves.  My total price from buy.com for both stacks was only $174 and shipping was free.  I first really noticed Sanus in the Audio Advisor catalog, but their price was much higher at $260 plus the shipping which was not cheap.

They look clean and sturdy.  Very nice sir.
I think your listening room is outstanding... especially the wall behind the LP.  Far out

Thank you.

They are very sturdy and come with both spikes for a carpeted floor, or pads for a smooth one.  The bottom round tube is hollow with plastic caps plugged into the back where they terminate.  So, they can be filled with a heavy material if wanted.  However, for me the weight of the amps themselves is plenty.

That wall has a built in sculpture installed by the artist.  His early work was all sciencefiction oriented.  His inspiration for that was originally from Star Wars with Hans Solo frozen in carbonite.  It is life size with himself as the subject.  He uses his wife for the female form sculptures.

Wow! :thumb:

The single shelf Sanus amp stand goes for $80 @ Audio Advisor, not including shipping. At Buy.com, it goes for $53 w/ free shipping.

I think I'm gonna get me some of that. aa

You know, if you value what AA provides to the "audiophile" community, you may approach them to price match Buy.com...just a thought.

When I tried ordered through their site I was not getting the free shipping for some reason.  So, I called in my order and found out what was up.  Free shipping is automatic for single unit purchases and will not happen when ordering two or more.  The way around that is to order each item separately.  The sales person explained that to me on the phone and placed all the orders for me at the same time.  They still arrived all together in about 3 days.

I have ordered a good bit through Audio Advisor in the past and it just didn't occur to me to ask them about prices.  As you had mentioned, it sure wouldn't hurt to try.
