Frankly I would really have to wonder if cryoing would have any negative effect on paper,,,, it's rubber and adhesives you need to worry about. It wouldn't hurt to ask Cryoparts or Cryogenics International for an opinion.

well then let me buy a lottery ticket,and if i strike it, i will commission a tvc with Teflon instead of paper,and house it in custom solid aluminium chassisand then cryo treat it ......dreaming ......drooling......

I think the tranny would come through fine, however, I don't think the wood case would make it, the adhesive would probably fail and the wood might crack.Peace, Lee
Lee i think the best thing is to have just the transformer and if possible the switches cryoed. i beleive this would increase the performance of the entire unitthanksNicholas

Around USD30-60 i think, may be less just top of the head. custom solid aluminium chassis fully mill would be nicerMill the entire chasis out of solid aluminium even better solid copper would be bestthen cryo
