I read about this intriguing little speaker system just today. Has anyone heard one?

these are pretty strong statements from the likes of Gayle Sanders (Martin Logan)

Dr. Godehard Guenther must be a pretty capable designer:

after seeing this, and then reading stuff about it, i found a nib bluetooth unit on ebay; i sniped it for $167.  thanks for the tip!   :green:  it arrived at my post orifice today, awaiting pick-up.  based upon a rewiew, i also stumbled across samsung, which makes ipods; this one has an fm tuna; i picked up a factory refurb'd unit for $21:

my new yob will have me traveling occasionally; i am now looking forward to music instead of the boob toob in the hotel room...   8)

The Samsung would be worth $21 for the tuna alone! Good score, on both counts. :thumb:

Would be very interested in a report on the sound quality - although I imagine it would be hard to separate the impression from the novelty of the "big-sound-from-little-box" aspect.

the tuna sounds nice, at least thru the earbuds.  reception is quite excellent.  i will try plugging it in to my main rig w/my $50 aq 3.5mm-to-rca cabling to see how it sounds there.

re: foxl sound quality - if it really does 80hz-20khz at anywhere near its rated 95db/0.5m, i will be more than happy.  from foxl's own homepage, listing rewiews, i suspect i will be more than happy...   8)
