Before sticking these on ebay I'll offer them up here. I've a pair
of DQ-10's with Dahlquist stands (not the feet) for sale. These were
completely rebuilt in 2004. Both woofers and both cone mid's were
redone by Regnar. I also did the Regnar capacitor, wiring, tweeter
attenuator and mirror imaging upgrades. I put about $700 into these
past the original cost of the speakers. Part of this was was to
clean up every bracket and then repaint them so there is no rust. I
replaced the input terminals with some nice ones. Inside I used a
Diflex 12" woofer panel after removing as many of the square
fiberglass packing that I could. I also replaced the cloth after
cleaning and repainting the metal grill. I'm not a good upholsterer
so the cloth could be done better but it's not that bad. The overall
cabinet condition isn't fantastic but is ok. The sound is great. The
stands are also in good (not like new) condition. I'd really not want
to ship these and obviously the cost of shipping would add
tremendously to the final bill.
I've got another set - my own mods on those so since these are
standard I'm going to part with them.
$500 NOT shipped, includes the stands. I live in Rockford Illinois
and would be willing to drive...50 miles or so in any direction to
assist in delivery. These hit ebay on Friday, March 6th at 6pm
unless I've got a good reason not to post them. A good reason would
be reasonable interest.
Stands are ok - is a chunk out of the back of one of them. One of the DQ-10's will NOT
have a speaker attenuator knob. sorry, needed it for the one's I'm keeping.
