is it fair to measure open baffle systems outdoors and if so should they be examined for harmonic and intermodulation distortion? If modulation distortion were to be examined with two tone sine, what spread and lower limit relative to cutoff might be used? Is harmonic distortion audible in some open baffle systems? if so can it be pleasant to some listeners?
the distortion at ~ 1 watt/42Hz below for Silver Iris is a good deal higher than I might see in some Karlson box at 100 watts
