So you'd like to...
know exactly why the average person enjoys cr@ppy music
A guide by B. Martin "theonewhoknowswhat" (anytown, usa)

An intensive study was done showing that the AVERAGE person(s) could not tell the difference between the sound of their favorite music on cassette, compact disc (cd) or LP record.

This is highly indicative why the AVERAGE person can not discern between the difference of so-so, or great sounding music.

As a matter of fact: I can tell the sound difference between the recorded sound(s) of a cassette, compact disc or LP record.

Even if someone would up the ante and record a cassette song, a compact disc song, and an LP record song (even if the record is brand spanking new out of the box), on to an upper quality cassette blank, I can still differentiate which song came from the different mediums.

The trick (if you have good hearing),

A cassette tape will "ever so slightly" drag the music and sound. I can also hear the natural sound a cassette player makes bleed through to the speaker(s) headphone(s).

An LP record will by nature have an underlying scratch or "tick" sound. Yes even brand spanking new out of the box.

A compact disc will have a rich full sound. (Unless it is cr@pped up to begin with, I have only known one cd to have a sound like the deep frequencies were missing. It may have been a pirated copy.)

So for those of you who can not tell the difference in sound, go ahead and buy your favorite music at yard sales etc (forfeiting sound quality). Leave your cassettes in a place where the sun and heat can cook them until they are well done. (Like a closed up automobile on a hot summers day.) Utilize the same tape player for years on end to add to that great tape dragging quality you enjoy SO much. Get someone in your vehicle, and try to make them enjoy your cr@p as much as you do. Turn it up full blast with the cr@ppy speakers distorting and buzzing.

My idea of hell on earth. [stuck in someone elses vehicle listening to their refuse]

As that great philosopher Bugs Bunny used to say........

"What a Maroon!".

Such an  arrogant little prick.  I bet he goes through life knowing everything about everything.

Let's just be thankful that we have been spared from seeing the foul cuss word "c----y" by the protective @ symbol. *whew*

What a dork.
I think he works retail at a nationwide electronics store and (therefore) thinks he's cool.  :duh:

The stats show:
Last updated: 3/16/03
Read: 1,719 times
Rated: 3 out of 16 helpful

Which tells me that out of 1,719 people that read his blabber in the past six years, three of them believe him.
I see that as a good thing.

If he can't tell the difference between CD, Cassette. or vinyl he must have some really awful speakers.
