The Seniors Day idea sounds like a good one--- we could advertise that buying a Bryston today means 'your warranty' will probably run out before Brystons warranty

I personally like the senior discount.  I got carded for my ID at an iHop restaurant about a year and a half ago for ordering the senior 55 and over breakfast.  The local outlet mall also has 50+ shopping days on Tuesday where they give you an extra 10% off at most stores.  I think Bryston should require people drive to the factory in Canada and show ID.  By the time some seniors get there at their slow rate of driving, there should be new models out.  I think an extra 5% off for wearing white shoes and having a clean pair of depends is something Bryston should consider.

The nice thing about being a senior (what ever that means) is that by virtue of your age you have demonstrated exceptional survival skills in a world that has all sorts of challenges to longevity, i.e., disease, war, economics, rush hour traffic, to name but a few.  Seniors should be proud of their age, they have proven they know how to survive.  Those who aren't seniors have reason to worry!!  In this world, in the right situation, even a gesture or simple slip of the tongue can get you taken out.   Something to ponder I suppose. :)
