Joe, I will be playing Mr Dad to our six year old. We have a huuuge back yard that is kid friendly to younguns, with horses and chickens next door. It is easy to keep the little ones entertained for a couple hours, and there will be plenty of parents on the back porch to assist if you need to have a go at serious listening.  :D

Thanks Dave, sounds good.
We'll see you on the 28th.
Joe

Tim, Joe, Rick, and Blackmore, there is always room on the patio. We are starting to get pretty full, so we definitely need good weather to have the back yard as a relief valve to alleviate overcrowding.

I'm really starting to look forward to having a bigger crowd and having all the rigs humming. We definitely will be pulling the Fraizer MK VIs out onto the patio as well, and letting them rip with a big McIntosh tube amp.  8)

Hey, I would love to squeeze onto the patio somewhere if they let me out of jail for the afternoon. I love a good audio party, and this looks to be a hot one!!

Well, since we will be having guests, I went out in the back yard today and raked (and bagged) fifteen bags of leaves ....and have about twenty left to go. Yucch!!

With the number of people coming, we will scrape together a few door prizes. My lovely wife picked out the first one.... a pair of McIntosh ML-1C speaks, needing refoam and light sanding/refinishing. I was hoping these could end up in our son's room with a Mac 1900 receiver, but wife shook her head and said nope. Liam's loss may be your gain! :thumb:

Hi Dave

Looks like I'm going to have to back out and free up some space on the patio.  Family things have come up that I need to do.

Have a good time and take some pics...

I'm going to have to duck out on this one Dave. I've just bought a new cd player ( 10 mins ago) from a rather nice guy up in Peoria Il. I'll be heading up there to pick it up tomorrow. I hope everyone has a great time.

Tim, that's my hometown! If you want a treat, go over to the Avanti's sub shop near Northwoods Mall and pick up some pizza bread and an original Gondola. They both are fantastic!

Hey Dave,

Hate to do this too but my wife informed me we've got family coming over tomorrow afternoon. I really wanted to hear some of your new speakers too

The red beans are simmering, and everything for the jambalaya is chopped up and ready to jump into the pot. We will have some vintage 45 tubes to drop in the SET amps, and Liam is warming up his mono stereo already and is all excited! It's gameday!!

Keep those of us a long ways away informed. :thumb:

I have an old friend who is attending, and I hope the foul weather doesn't stop him from driving there.

OK, every day I drive by your dealership and see that Bentley Continental sitting on the lot. I'm dying to know, whats the price tag on it?

Dave, sorry for the threadjack but inquiring minds want to know  :D

Hey Scott,
Gettin' tired of that Lincoln are we?  aa
The Bently is $124,500, information found > HERE <.
That's at the BMW dealer on the north side of Manchester road, I'm across the street at the Volvo, Saab dealer.
I can see the car from my window. Well...not through the raindrops on the glass, but most of the time anyway.
It's amazing how many kids ride down the street on their bikes, stop at the Bentley, drool all over the car, then ride off.
Don't think they want your Schwinn for a trade in kid.

Hi Dave. Every time I go to a "meet" there ends up being something that needs soldering. I'm all packed up to go but do you have soldering equipment? I can bring my little "kit" if you want.
