*** Note: this deal gets you the full, lifetime warranty as if you were buying it new from Decware. ***

It's time for me to sell my Torii II -- the top of the line amp from Decware.  This is a 26 watt, 100% Class A PP amp that sound fantastic with a wide range of speakers from single-driver to multiways with crossovers.

It can use EL34, 6550, KT-88, and KT-77s (and probably others as well) for power tubes, 5U4g, 5AR4, and others as rectifiers, 6n1p, 6922, and similar for drivers.  It also uses 2 0D3s to regulate the voltage on the power tube grids to linearize them without the need for global negative feedback.  There are also independent high-frequency compensation controls for tuning the high end to the response of your speakers.  Speaker impedance is switch selectable between 4 and 8 ohms.  This is a dual mono design on one chassis, with separate power supplies for each half.  The only common items to both channels are the power inlet, the chassis, and the volume control.

This amp will come with 4 JJ KT-88s, 2 OTK 6n1ps, two Ruby 5u4g rectifiers, and two 0D3 gas regulator tubes (plus a spare).

Furthermore, for the asking price I will send the unit directly to Decware for a full inspection and tune up and have them send it directly to you, and of course if there are any parts that need replacement, I will cover those.  Reason is that one of the HV filter caps is somewhat suspect and I want to make sure you get a unit that is fully up to spec and ready for a long service life.

This is a really sweet amp but I had to make a decision, and the single ended amps are the ones that are staying, even if they limit my speaker choices somewhat more than this amp would.  You can also tune this amp to suit your taste, speakers, and room, through tube rolling and the high frequency compensation.

As is this amp has a single pair of inputs, but if you need the second pair, I'm sure Steve can easily add that when he has it in his posession.  If you're going to use a preamp, there's just no point in complicating the input signal path.  Steve can also easily switch out the stock, black base for walnut or something else if you want, but you'll have to make those arrangements with him, and pay for that yourself.

Price is a very fair $1250, which includes shipping to decware and then to you (in lower 48), paypal fees, and any costs of parts and labor to make sure the amp is fully up to spec.

Thanks for looking,

Jim

Just FYI, when the amp goes back to decware for a checkup, you as the new owner have the full, lifetime warranty reinstated as if you bought it new from them.

Forgot to mention that the original power cord and manual are included.

Take advantage of this and get a Torii II with full lifetime warranty for half price.
