Problem with Sat. service

When I purchased my HDTV online I also purchased an HD package. What I didn't know was that since I was already a subscriber, I could have just requested the same rental package, billed to my account on the phone. I asked the service rep then to hook me up, and credit the money I already paid for the HD package I purchased online to my account. They however seem to have no record that I purchased this product. I then said  okay, I don't want your HD service and could you credit my account, and they said they would.
Two months later I still haven't been credited for the HD purchase, so I haven't paid my bill. I phoned the rep, and they say I have to return the product to where I purchased it. I'm saying that I purchased HD service which you have no record of and that I want the service. But once I get the service I'm going to cancel for putting up with the BS. So just credit my account and then I'll cancel.

What I think happened is someone pocketed the money on the online store and took out the English contract, to somehow get free HD service that I paid for. If I send it back for refund, I may loss the proof of my purchase and get no refund. Since I wanted and paid for their HD service and said company hasn't provided it, they should credit me the amount.

What should I do?
