I have for sale a pair of three-year old Amphion Helium 2 Monitors in Silver color (Original Retail on these Finnish phenoms is $1200.00, and they have received numerous rave reviews). I am the second owner. They were recently damaged when a friend's child knocked the left channel speaker of its stand onto my tile floor. On three of the corners the laminate was cracked exposing the MDF. One corner actually lost an approximate 1 cm chunk. Also, the top edge was dingged, but the laminate did not crack. I would rate the speaker somewhere between a 3 and a 4 on the AG scale. The drivers and binding posts were unaffected, and the speaker still sounds as great as the day I got it, it just don't look too pretty. The other speaker is an 8, and was not damaged. Neither speaker has its grille because I threw them away (PITA). I hope to post some pics tomorrow. I will entertain offers. A truly great deal on a great monitor if you can overlook the aesthetic problem. Ships from zip code 32250, and I will split costs.
