Movie "Body of Lies"

I made the following post about this movie a short time ago and very soon thereafter a post was made that was politically oriented. I dumped the thread into the Waste bin and will do so again if anyone makes political statements about the movie. AC has a strict policy about political threads - they are not allowed:

"Body of Lies" stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. My wife and I just finished watching this BB Rental. Acting by DiCaprio and Crowe was excellent but both of us had a hard time understanding/following the storyline. There is a lot of believable action and I will be interested to read others comments. If it were not for the problem I had following the storyline I would give it 4 stars but even with that issue I will still give it 3.5 stars out of 5.

Good acting. . .but very bad take on the C.I.A..

I watched this flick at the theater last summer. My failed memory has failed me once again over this movies particulars but I do remember being disappointed, mainly because I'm a huge Crowe / DiCaprio fan and I walked away unmoved. Just because it was an unmemorable movie, it only rates 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Good show to Bigfish for doing the right thing btw.

Just saw it from netflix. Thought it was a decent flick although maybe you'd expect more from Leonardo, Crowe and Ridley Scott. I liked the acting by leonardo and am impressed by his recent body of work.

I got "Body of Lies" from Netflix. How bad could a Ridley Scott movie be, I wondered? Turns out, pretty awful.
Neither lead actor was in anyway convincing. Most miscast movie I've seen in years.

yeah it was okay. the ending was cheesy, but the events leading up to it were good. i thought leo did a good job, but crowe's character seemed fake. always with the family yet always on the phone? come on, and whats with him eating the entire time he's on the phone. in a way, it reminded me of the kingdom only no where near as good. 3/5 to be poilte.
