     There's been a LOT of talk about having difficulty finding good NOS pairs of 7199 driver tubes.  Balderdash!  I have Sylvania NOS 7199 pairs available for just $50.00 per pair - and this price includes shipping inside the US!  While other people are asking a LOT more, I am going to hold the price at $50.00 per pair (at least for now).  If you have a Dynaco Stereo 70, a Mark IV, a Mark VI or an SCA-35 (especially if you are currently using Sovteks), NOW is the time to get a pair of Sylvania NOS 7199's.  The price will NOT go any lower!  (The price for a single tube is $30.00 shipped).

     People have asked, "which brand of 7199 is the best?"  As with most things "Hi-Fi", it's not a clear-cut answer.  Here's how *I* rate these tubes.

     Generally speaking, the RCA's have the lowest distortion, and would be my first choice.  The Sylvania's come in second.  But the Sylvania's are a *slightly* quieter tube than the RCA's.  If you are looking for the quietest 7199's, go with the Sylvania's.  Either brand will make you smile!  There is nothing at all wrong with the GE's.  They are very close to the RCA's and the Sylvania's, but I would still place them in third place.  ANY of these 7199's will simply blow Sovtek's out of the water!  (It's not even CLOSE!)

     At $50.00 a pair (including shipping in the US), this is simply a deal you don't want to miss.  While I DO have good stock right now, that will not always be the case.  Prices are rising elsewhere.  My price is not!  Just remember, when my stock is gone, I won't be getting any more in.  I am liquidating 90% of my tube and parts collection.  When that's done, it's all over!  There won't be more.

     Demand has been high!  Stock is beginning to dwindle!  There are a few pairs of RCA 7199's left.  After that, it's Sylvania and GE.  After that - you're on your own!  (Probably stuck with those lousy Sovtek's!)  Don't let this happen to you!  If you use 7199's in your amplifier, this could be just the ticket to help you get the MOST out of your amp!

     As it turns out, I just discovered four more pairs of RCA 7199's!  If you need to replace your 7199's, this would be a good time to buy!  I'm trying to hold the line on price as long as I can, but *eventually* they will have to sell for more (as stock becomes depleted).  All tubes are NOS and fully tested.  I also guarantee EVERY NOS tube I sell for a period of 90 days!  Just let me know if I can be of service!

     Things have changed quite a bit since this ad was posted.  My stock of RCA 7199's is now down to the amount necessary to allow for possible warranty replacement, or tubes that I will supply with future Dynaco rebuilds.  ALL of my GE-manufactured tubes are now gone.  That leaves Sylvania manufactured tubes as the remaining choice.  While I still DO have a good stock of matched Sylvania pairs of 7199's, they will not last forever.  If you are even *thinking* about buying a pair of 7199's, NOW would be a good time to do so.

     If you simply MUST have a matched pair of RCA 7199's, contact me.  But be prepared for a *hefty* price increase.  I'm afraid the laws of "supply and demand" are beginning to make themselves quite apparent.  Remember:  once my stock of 7199's is gone, I WON'T be getting any more in.  If you have been "on the fence" about purchasing a pair, I URGE you to act soon.  I seriously doubt you will find a $50.00 pair of 7199's that are thoroughly tested and guaranteed for 90 days, ANYWHERE else.
