Fall/Winter 09 'B' revolution is complete
« on: 20 Feb 2009, 07:52 pm »
Dear all, please forgive this gleeful post but I have to share: the BCD-1 arrived today completing the 'B' revolution.

Went from Cambridge Audio 640 Amp, 640 CD player, 640 phono-stage, Rega P1 + Ortofon OM5, B&W DM303, and Monster cabling over 4.5 months of growing pains to:
BCD-1, BP-26MC, 14B SST, Pro-ject 2Xperience + Ortofon 2M Black, B&W 804S, Acoustic Zen Matrix and Silver Ref II balanced IC, and 8TC shot-gun biwire.
And the sound . . . . . well, let's just say the CDs and the LPs are battling it out in a gang fight trying to get played on the 'B' system.
The bass -- just so tight and tuneful, the treble -- perfectly airy and sweet, and the music -- just right with lightning-huge dynamics, detailed fine sound-stage, and unmatched grace.

Thank you Bryston for your products, 20 yr warranty, and outstanding service from the very top right down to your authorized dealers (Sound Design in Toronto). Mr. Tanner's web presence and responsiveness is simply unparalleled and it has trickeled down. Job well done -- and all in good old Ontario, Canada. Makes one proud of the old red and white.

My hat's off to you,

Shafie
